Weddingtournee

This week no updates… I am on tournee! I will be photographing several weddings outside ZG (from the East to the South of HR)… Next week you'll get to see the results.

That means that mail also will not be answered. For urgent cases or bookings, please sms / phone me.

Until then, please feel free to comment on the post below!

To use or not to use ???

I've been in doubt for a long time, but I made up my mind. The photo below will be used the coming year for advertising.

I believe that this image shows perfectly my style which is original, non-posed, relaxed and refreshing in comparison with my Croatian colleques.

However, I also believe that many brides will not be attracted by it, simply because it is too different, too modern and not their taste. That is ok, I can not (and do not want to) photograph every wedding anyway… But for those who like this image, they will probably like my style as well and I might be the wedding photographer they are looking for …

What do you think, is it a good image to be used for advertising? The goal of this image is to intrigue…

A different wedding ...

Last Saturday's wedding was a bit different than usual… when we arrived at the bride's house both the bride and her kuma were dressed up already and they looked stunning. We decided to shoot the bridal session in Zrinjevac were the groom joined us a bit later for a very short portrait session.

The ceremony was held in the church of Palmotićeva and we were allowed to take photos from upstairs as well. With a horse carriage the couple went to Paviljon were the party was held: first a reception outside followed by real rock’n’roll played by the Yellow Submarine.

The couple arranged several intermezzo's: there was a magician who showed us his magic tricks, a belly dancer showed us the art of dancing and to my big surprise the groom and his friends took over the place from the band and started to play a whole set of songs.

Trash The Dress [ the album ]

Real photos are always nicer then images on a computerscreen and I know that many brides would like to see the results of the Trash The Dress session.

Well, those who get their dress at Nikolina can see the showalbum. Enjoy!

Tatjana's shoes

It is known that brides spend a lot of time shopping for shoes. And right they are since there are so many wonderful shoes available…

Below are the one Tatjana had during her wedding. Aren't they great?

Karlovac

Saturday's wedding started in Karlovac, where the bride lives. She had a wonderful dress with great shoes (two pairs!) and she just looked gorgeous! The bridal session we photographed at the river and after that we hurried to Zagreb.

The wedding ceremony took place at Kaptol and afterwards we had a full hour for the photo session in the upper town and the lightning was so nice. I love the sunlight in September, it has a kind of magic.

The party was held in Casablanca and the couple had thought of all kind of details: great music (one of my favorite bands: Saturnus) a chocolate fountain, an original guestbook and I think I even so the smile of Mona Lisa…

In other words, it was a great wedding and I am happy I could capture it …

Forward in time
