3 weeks before ...

Our style is best to be described as journalistic and spontaneous and although our style looks relaxed it does need some preparation: we must know what is when going on in order to be at the right time at the right place.

Because of this reason we always plan a consultation about three weeks before the wedding to discuss the many details of your wedding day so we have a good overview.

The meeting last for about an hour and next to the technical part we get to know each other a bit better which is very important. You want to feel comfortable while being photographed; you want to enjoy your day.

Another good thing of the meeting is that due to our discussion, you see if your day is well planned. Due to our experience, we can give you many insights and tips to make your day a great one.

Magazine Vjenčanja

The latest copy of Magazin ‘Vjenčanja’ is for sale and I must admit I like this number. There is a small interview with me and I guess the article really shows you who and what we are:

Unconventional & Unique

We love weddings. Your wedding! And I am happy to see that Croatian brides are open for new, unconventional and unigue wedding reportages.

What to ask your photographer?

For all of you who are still looking for a wedding photographer, please read this. It will make it easier to select your photographer. What to ask?

Before you even meet him, take a look at his work on the internet. Nowadays any self respecting photographer should have a decent website with lots (hundreds) of images. Make sure the photographer fits your budget.

Then during the meeting you should find out at least the following:

  1. Who will be your photographer? (in case of a studio you have the right to know who will be photographing you since everyone has his own style)
  2. What is his experience? Is he a specialist?
  3. Will there be a second photographer or assistant?
  4. How many hours will the photographer be at your wedding and what cost an extra hour?
  5. How many pictures do you receive and when? And how much cost extra prints?
  6. How will your wedding images be presented to you?
  7. Can your photographer provide you with real wedding albums or a weddingbook? Will he design and make the album / book? How long will this take?
  8. Can you buy (digital) negatives?
  9. Are the prices fixed on time of booking?
  10. How does the payment schedule looks like?

When you are satisfied with the answers and you like the photographer and his work and you can afford him the only thing left is to book him.

Keep in mind that paying 'kapara' is often the only way to reserve your date.

Of course your photographer can also be female, then read her instead of his…

Samo da ti kažem da su fotke feneomenalne. Baš su fora :) Bravo!

A new way: Ceremony & Portrait

The last few weeks we received several questions for a short wedding reportage. No capture for the whole day, just a nice portraits session and the ceremony.

As you might already know, we do listen to our couples, so it is time to introduce a new way for you to get a unique wedding photographer on your wedding day.

Ceremony & Portrait, a 3 hour coverage including 50 prints. However, we can not offer this way on Saturdays in June or September. Price is 200 euro only.

Sajam Vjenčanja 2008

From February 1st until February 3rd the Sajam Vjenčanja will be held in Zagreb. It is their 10th anniversary and from here I congratulate the organization.

Although I enjoy walking around on this bridal show we will not present ourselves there. Since we only accept a limited amount of weddings each year, it is of no use for us to 'oversell' ourselves.

However, we created seven unconventional ways (read packages or offers) for you to have a unique wedding photographer on your wedding day. Interested? Contact us :).

Personal work | 52 portraits

I guess that every artist needs to do personal work. Whether you're a musician, painter or photographer. I realized that my last personal project was done two years ago: a photo session about Zagreb from the perspective of a new inhabitant.

So, it is time to do something new and since I love to photograph people the choice was easily made when I saw what Bill Wadman did: every day one portrait. However, since I know myself a daily portrait would be too much. That's why I will make every week one portrait: 52 portraits in total.

Let me introduce you 52 portraits.
