Happy holidays!
This year has been a great for us! We had so many lovely weddings, with wonderful people to photograph; no single wedding was the same. Furthermore, it is still amazing to see that Trash The Dress became so popular in Croatia and we had wonderful photo sessions on which we received great comments from fellow photographers all over the world.
The coming year looks very positive, we have some nice ideas in development and we invested in other equipment in order to be more creative. After all, creativity is our driving force!
One of the ideas is a private project of mine, portraiture. Those who know me know that my background is in dance- and reportage photography and in order to stimulate my creativity I am starting up something new, something which will be big fun to do! More info coming soon.
Last but not least, I wish all our readers' happy holidays, full of love for their friends and family!

Bijela vjenčanja
Last Saturday we had a lovely wedding. The ceremony took place in the church on Kaptol, a beautiful church with a nice and cosy pub opposite of it where the guests were waiting until the ceremony started.
The party was held in the Sheraton Panoramo Hotel which was gorgeous decorated and also important, the food was delicious. The music was provided by Grupa Status, a great band, not only with their music but also with the amount of members: seven in total.
However, one of the sweetest things was that the couple wanted a white wedding, and as you can see on the photo below: snow was falling nicely and they got their white wedding!

Trash The Dress
In 'Obzor' an enclosure of one of Croatians newspapers Vecernji List there was a nice article about Trash The Dress last Saturday.
For all who are following this blog, the articles was nothing new though, but for those couples who do not come here often it must have been something completely new.
Happily, now whole Croatia knows about Trash The Dress!

Second shooter
We received many requests from our couples to photograph the preparation both of the bride and the groom. The latter especially since many people are gathering at the groom's place before heading of to the bride. Until now, we did not have a solution for this, but for 2008 we found a very simple solution: second shooters.
A second shooter is a second photographer, covering the wedding on another location, or from another point of view then the main photographer. This results in more variation in the wedding album.
Although a second shooter will add to your budget, it surely might be a good investment.

Designing albums
Within three weeks after we photographed your wedding, you will receive a dvd with 'proofs' (lowres files of all your wedding photos) so you can choose the photos for your wedding album.
We will then design your wedding album, because as said before, photographing a wedding is only part of the job. Designing the album is another (p)art.
We are probably unique with this in Croatia and here are 3 examples of the albums we use.
The first one is SAN REMO, an album with a glass cover. The second one is from the series STOCKHOLM and made out of aluminum and last but not least the series ATENA, the 'standard' album from Verka.
